Questions 

Through a lifetime of hard work and careful planning, you have accumulated an estate. Proper Estate Planning will insure that your loved ones benefit from your labors and that unnecessary taxes are avoided.


Ask yourself these questions:
  1. Does my Will distribute my assets to my spouse and children in the manner which I intend?

  2. Is there a coordination of benefits between my retirement plan, my life insurance, any annuities I may own and my Will?

  3. Do I understand the duties of my executor, my trustee, my healthcare representative and my agent under my power of attorney and have I made good selections?

  4. Do I want to disinherit anyone?

  5. Have I made provisions for my grandchildren?

  6. Is my estate, when combined with my spouse's estate, including all real estate investments, life insurance and retirement plans exceed $1,000,000?

  7. Should a living trust be considered?

  8. Should a disclaimer trust be considered?

  9. Are my children mature enough to handle the assets I expect to leave them if I die prematurely?

  10. Have a made adequate provisions to protect my children of a prior marriage?
